Kena: Bridge Of Spirits Delayed To September

Kena: Bridge Of Spirits was first revealed back in February during Sony's State of Play digital live presentation. Originally set to release this upcoming August, developer Ember Lab has decided to push back the release of the game one month in order to ensure the game's functionality is up to par on various platforms.

"We have made the difficult decision to delay the release of Kena until September 21st to polish the game across all platforms. The team has been working extremely hard and we feel the extra time is critical to ensure the best experience possible.

We know many of you are eager to play and we appreciate your patience as the team continues to work on delivering the best version of Kena." 

A third-person action-adventure game, Kena is the story of the titular heroine, a spirit maiden who uses her magic imbued staff to aid the deceased safely cross over into the spirit world. it can also be used for light, medium, and heavy attacks for fend against enemies. She is accompanied by spiritual creatures known as the Rot who help her defend and fight against enemies, as well as completing tasks. Like many games that are being worked on, the Covid-19 pandemic left the crew working remotely, causing initial developmental delays.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be released as a time console exclusive on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 September 21, 2021, and will be available to the Epic Games Store through Windows.
