OWL Stage 3 Week 5 Results and Standings

Stage 3 is all set and done. The Boston Uprising are undefeated in Stage 3, the first ever occurrence of such a feat. They're not only undefeated, but they are also the first team to beat all 3 Korean powerhouse teams in one stage. They also broke the NYXL win streak from last Stage. They got to choose their team in round 1 of the playoffs. But before we get to that, lets talk about the week at hand.

There are a lot of big matches, with playoffs on the line. The top 4 going into Week 5 were Boston, New York, and the 2 LA teams. Don't count out Houston and Philly though. If Philly could beat the Valiant, they would have stolen their playoff spot and if Houston could hang on, they would also have secured a playoff seat.

None of that happened. Philly folded and Houston collapsed. Shame too, I think the play offs would have turned out differently if either team came in.

Not much a surprise, Pine went ham on Widow and Saebyeolbe was absolutely insane on Tracer, showing no doubt what so ever that he is the best Tracer player in the league.

We have one more Stage for this, the first season of the Overwatch League. The top 5 seats are still up for grabs. So this is till anybody's game. Unless you're the Dragons, or the Fuel, or the Mayhem. Your season is basically done.
