Developed by SIE's (Sony Interactive Entertainment) in-house staff, the Gravity Rush games are among one of the PlayStation's beloved properties may be receiving an upgrade to the latest platform, namely Gravity Rush 2. While not considered a financial success, the open world game has been greenlit for a movie, which is said to be in development.

This information must be taken with a grain of salt, as this is based on unconfirmed rumors and speculation, but according to a Reddit post, there's indication that the action/adventure game is possibly getting a PlayStation 5 remaster, and testing on features. There were also some additional details being talked about through the team Alua Gravity Rush Discord server. 

According to the thread, these are the details that are "known":

"Expect some news in May" ,

- "If everything goes along with the schedule, then it's going to be a late summer release",

- "it's also coming to PC at a later date",

- "GR2R will have a proper photo mode, at least they are testing it",

- One of his friends is a playtester testing the game, ("Maybe he will post some screenshots when he gets too drunk again"),

- "as far as I know, they cut out the online stuff like dusty tokens. You just get the online content via a new short side quest".

Originally released for the PlayStation Vita and PS4 in 2017, Gravity Rush 2 continued the journey of the plucky and enthusiastic protagonist Kat helping their friends turn tide tide in overthrowing the oppressive government in Banga Village. Similar to the first game, Kat completes quests and battle enemies using her gravity-based powers. Praised for its unique gameplay and loveable characters. 

If these leaks are solid, fans may expect to see Gravity Rush 2 Remastered midway through this year.
