King of Fighters XV is a little less than a month away, and SNK Corporation gives an official drop to the current state of the game's roadmap after the final trailer for the base roster (Elisabeth Blantorche). Unfortunately, a lot of KOF XV's details were leaked several weeks ago that revealed the game's story mode and DLC characters, they turned out to be accurate.

At the very least, fans won't have to wait too long for long. The team pass 1 includes 3 popular names from Garou: Mark of the Wolves. Son of Geese Howard and Terry Bogard protege Rock Howard, leader of the Lillien Knights pirates, the sultry Bonne Jenet, and the enigmatic and ruthless martial artist Gato make up Team Garou. This team will be available in March.

The second team in Pass 1 is Team South Town, comprised of the resident villains and rivals of the Bogard brothers, crime leader Geese Howard (looking like he's sporting a suit for this, as opposed to his signature white and red karate gi), his longtime bodyguard Billy Kane, and the malevolent and psychotic Ryuji Yamazaki, who originally debuted in Fatal Fury 3: road To The Final Victory as a midboss. He has appeared in numerous King of Fighters games since. This team will be available in May.

12 characters will be released in this wave of fighters, bringing King of Fighters' roster of 39 up to 51. Team 3 will be available during the summer of 2022, and Team 4 is expected during the autumn. Individual pricing for the teams will be $15.99US. The first Team Pass will be bundled with the Deluxe Edition of KOF XV for $89.99US. Included in the pre-order bonuses are two DLC costumes. Terry Bogard's Mark of the Wolves outfit (I love that bomber jacket), and Leona Heidern's '96 outfit that she wore in her franchise debut.

King of Fighters XV will be available February 17 for the PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
