Announced during SNK's rollout of their season two DLC road map, the underground street fighter makes her way back to the KOF tournament. Nicknamed "The Late-Blooming Blitz Eyeie", Sylvie debuted in King of Fighters XIV at the special request of former tournament benefactor and host Antonov, teaming with Kukri and Mian. 

Sylvie was a popular character among the SNK development staff. While King of Fighters XIV was made on an incredibly limited budget and the team had complications with their home-built engine for the game, Sylvie boasted the most unique set of animations out of all the playable characters.

Sporting a new look, Sylvie appears to have gained a little bit of confidence following the events of KOF XIV. She was a test subject and former agent of the NESTs organization and lived in fear of her seniors like Angel, who always referred to her as "junk". Sylvie's personality, while childlike and playful, has been warped, mostly due to the experiments NESTs performed on her.

Sylvie's specials and moveset looks like she's received some significant upgrades. A strong defensive character, she didn't have a true projectile in King Of Fighters XIV, meaning she relied heavily on meter attacks to get in on opponents. Some of her new tools appear to give her more properties for rushdown and pressure tactics.   

Along with Sylvie, her costume from KOF XIV will be available as he makes the roster May 16th. King of Fighters XV is currently available for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
