Skull And Bones, Ubisoft's open-sea pirate adventure, may have been met with great scrutiny upon its release, despite a grand marketing campaign and glossing it as the world's first "quadruple-A" game. But there are plans to roll in its second season with a line of new content. Players who chose to bypass Skull And Bones' initial launch window will have a chance this week to play it for FREE.
Beginning May 30th, Skull And Bones' and all of its available content will be able to be enjoyed for a week, ending on June 6th.

Given how long Skull and Bones has spent in development, along with the game's heightened expectations, Ubisoft has likely taken a significant financial hit with this game's post-launch. Despite being out for less than half a year, it has already been discounted at 50%, and sales indicators show it may have sold less than a million units, according to Insider Gaming.
Well, if you're curious to give Skull and Bones a go, it's currently available via PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and The Epic Games Store.
