The long-running jRPG series is celebrating its 35th anniversary in style. 

This Thursday, Dragon Quest celebrates its 35th Anniversary. As you may know, we have a special 35th Anniversary Broadcast scheduled for then. In gratitude for all your support so far, we’ll have plenty to announce. And of course, we’ll have more on that game as well… Please look forward to it, everyone!

This Wednesday, May 26th at 11:30 PM Eastern time we are getting a special live stream where the Dragon Quest team will be announcing new titles. We already know that Dragon Quest XII has been in development since 2019, after the success of Dragon Quest XI. 

Personally, I really want Dragon Quest X to finally get a Western release date. It's the only Dragon Quest game that hasn't managed to make it over to the US due to it being an MMO title, which is hard to crack in the US. 

I am a huge Dragon Quest fan, so I am very excited for this stream. Unfortunately, it's on at 11:30 PM, which is way past my bedtime. 

We have this going on, and yet. Nintendo has done nothing for Zelda. Which is also celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Bad Nintendo! 

35 years... man am I old...
