Some new games have been added to the Sega Genesis catalog of the Nintendo Switch Online Service + Expansion Pack. After the Nintendo 64 library saw a fairly line of additions over the last few weeks and months, it's refreshing to see more included on the Sega front. Coming to the service is the action platforming beat'em up Comix Zone, the run-n-gun action game, Target Earth, Capcom's Mega Man: The Wily Wars, and the classic shooter Zero Wing.

Comix Zone - Originally released in 1995. Experience an action game in a visually striking setting based on American comic books. Comic artist Sketch Turner finds himself lost in the Comix Zone and must battle his way through panels of mutants to escape it! Comix Zone was reviewed here, as a part of Retro Reboot.

Target Earth - Originally known as Assault Suit Leynos, this action-packed shooter won many fans for its exhilarating mix of mech-suit platforming and shooting. Earn equipment based on your performance in each stage and customize your loadout for eight different levels.

Mega Man: The Wily Wars - Released in the UK and Japan, Mega Man - The Wily Wars was cancelled for a US distribution and was only available on the Sega Channel. The first three games in the renowned Mega Man series, compiled for the SEGA Genesis! Beat all three games to unlock Wily Tower, where you can challenge an original boss.

Zero Wing - The classic space shooter, that coined one of the earlier video game memes. Zero Wing comes from the creative mind of Toshiaki Ota (Onechanbara, Truxton, Senran Kagura) and Toaplan. You have three types of weapons to choose from—Valcan shots, lasers, and homing missiles—all of which can be used in the fight against each stage's boss. Capture items and enemies with the Prisoner Beam and use them as shields or as weapons!
