Sony's next "State of Play" event may have just been leaked on 4chan. 

I just want to make note that this is a 4chan leak. So barrel of salt people. 

Here is what the leaker claims. 

August 6th, Sony is holding another State of Play event with more gameplay footage for games already announced and a few reveals.

Here is the entire list of stuff that is supposed be to featured during this event on August 6th;

Along with this, we are supposed to be a price announcement. 

Now, a few things here are kind of surprising to me. Overwatch 2 being one of them. If there is going to be new footage of Overwatch 2, I would think that Blizzard would announce that on their own, and not during a Sony event. Blizzard has never announced or showed anything for any of their games for any of these events. So that strikes me as odd. 

Silent Hill? Konami has basically stopped making video games at this point in time. There has been a rumor going around that Sony is funding two Silent Hill games. One is supposed to be a reboot of the original & the other is a remake and they have the blessing of Konami for the projects. The rumor also goes on to say that Hideo Kojima is supposed to be at the helm of both games. Kojima has said that he is working on a horror project, so... it lines up.

A new Kombat Pack for MK11 would be awesome. Aftermath, the first ever single player expansion to a fighting game was just released a few months ago that included 3 new characters. Three more could be amazing. Just saying! 

The biggest things on this list are the price reveal and the backwards compatibility trailer. So far, Sony has been hush hush on both of those. They have confirmed that the PS5 will have some sort of backwards compatibility, but hasn't went into any detail on what it could be. Speculation has suggested that, like MS, it's going to be compatible with all previous Playstation consoles. 

This isn't the only leak, but this is the most comprehensive, with a detailed list of stuff that is supposed to be announced\shown.

Again though, this is a leak, none of this is 100% confirmed. Just something to think about.
