Nintendo eShop Quietly Updates Information For Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

While news of an upcoming Nintendo Direct have yet to be revealed (February has generally been the annual month for sizable game updates for the forseeable months), there has been a little bit of details regarding the status of two titles coming to the Switch, Advance wars 1+2 Reboot Camp and The legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the follow-up to 2017's successful Breath of the Wild, one of the initial needle-movers for the Nintendo Switch's launch, was never specifically given a release date upon its announcement. Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp, co-developed by Nintendo and WayForward Technologies (the Shantae series and Spidersaurs), was initially scheduled to be released in December 2022, but was delayed indefinitely, due to the rising conflict and war between Russia and Ukraine.

According to some findings on the Famiboards messageboard, it's been pointed out that changes made to the information on Tears of the Kingdom and Reboot Camp have seen them relisted on the Canadian Nintendo eShop page. This may also be true of other regions. A Twitter user who goes by @LbaBinz on Twitter has been credited for pointing out the changes made on Discord.

The original placeholder NSUID on the Canadian eShop details for Tears of the Kingdom was "TLOZ-TOTK", and has now been updated with a new one. The new NSUIDs listed may indicate motions to make pre-orders available for Tears of the Kingdom.

Where there's smoke, there could be fire with this bit of information. These games are certainly on their way. Whether or not a Nintendo Direct is coming to properly confirm upcoming release dates remains to be seen.
