Another month, another possible "Nintendo Direct" leak. This one comes from Reddit and was deleted within minutes of being posted.

This memo style document (which even claims to be for "internal use only" states that there will be a Nintendo Direct on the 11th of this month. There is going to be a lot of titles announced - many dream titles - and Nintendo will finally announce the much rumored "Nintendo Switch Pro" console. It even has specs listed for the console and a release date - 04/23/2021.

According to the document, the "Nintendo Switch Pro" will support 4k, will feature "Dock Pro", "Joy con Pro", Bluetooth audio, high definition screen, 256 gb (doesn't specify what, ram or storage), and Nvidia DLLS 2.0.

I honestly have no idea what an Nvidia DLLS 2.0 is. I know Nvidia has DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), which is for upscaling video and used with the RTX chipsets. Basically, it is used to upscale lower resolution images to look nicer on higher end monitors. I am 50\50 on why this would apply to the Nintendo Switch. All Nintendo Switch games are already in some form of HD, be it 700p or 900p. This could upscale that to 1080p or even to a lesser degree, 4k. I don't really see Nintendo paying for this kind of technology, considering Nintendo has never been about power and has been more focused on games. Currently, the Nintendo Switch has a mobile GPU, the Nvidia Tegra X1. It's an older GPU and the Switch actually downgrades it even further. To make the leap from the Tegra to the RTX is huge.

It has a list of both first party, and third party games that are going to be announced; Mario Kart 9, Splatoon 3, Super Mario Odyssey 2, Metroid Resurgence, Fire Emblem Echoes: Path of Radiance are the first party titles. Along with Nintendo World: Park Tour are all listed as first party. All of these titles have 2021 listed as their release date.

I can kind of see a new Mario Kart, since the Switch hasn't gotten their own Mario Kart game yet. Mario Kart 8 is a port of the WiiU version. As for the rest, I can see it. I don't think there is anything wrong with this list. It's believable. There have been rumors floating around for awhile now of a new 2D Metroid game, that's supposed to hold us over until Prime 4. Rumor has it that it's supposed to be a remake of some sort. So this checks out.

Here is where the list reads as a fanboys dream. Kingdom Hearts: Destiny's Embrace, many Ubisoft titles, many Capcom titles, Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake

A lot of these titles have "Only available natively on the Nintendo Switch Pro" listed underneath them. If, and this is a big if, the Nintendo Switch Pro is a real thing. I can see a lot of these titles being released for that console.

There is also a bunch of other titles listed on the bottom of this, some already confirmed, some you already know will be released for the console at some point.

One more thing is listed under all of this; The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of the Past. Nintendo already has a big Zelda game coming out in Breath of the Wild 2, could they be working on another title? They even have a release date posted, 4\23\2021. Seems close.

Personally, I love rumors and leaks, but this one seems way too far fetched, even for me. Don't get me wrong, I would love for all of this to be true. But I live in reality. I personally don't see Nintendo doing this, especially when the Switch is still selling like crazy. This would splinter the base and turn off a lot of current players.

You can see the entire memo below. Warning though, this is a lot of things spelled wrong.

What are your thoughts? Does this look legit? Or is it complete BS? Let us know!
