Well it's that time of year again. Time for E3. I am going to break down the schedule and predictions from the entire Game Fix staff along with some opinions from yours truly.

So lets do this!

Saturday, June 8th

EA Play

Time: 9:15 AM PT/ 12:15 PM ET

EA Play is an all day event that its going to include notable highlights from Apex Legends, Battlefield V, FIFA, Madden, and of course Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Opinion: I think this is going to be typical standard fair for EA. I want to see more of Fallen Order and a release date. I don't think we are going to get any huge announcements from EA.

Sunday, June 9th

Xbox

Time: 1pm PT/ 4pm ET

Phil Spencer has already teased 14 new Xbox Game Studio titles. I am expecting more info on Gears of War 5, Halo Infinite, and Cyberpunk 2077. We will probably get more info on Project xCloud and the rumored From Software/George R. R. Martin game. Plus Fable 4...? Maybe?

Opinion: MS has been killing it for the last few years. I think we are going to see them come out swinging again this year.

Bethesda

Time: 5:30pm PT/ 8:30pm ET

Bethesda already said that they are going to show an in depth look at Doom Eternal. Other than that, that's it. Todd Howard has already said that they have zero plans to show anything new at E3.

Opinion: Boring. Moving on.

Monday, June 10th

PC Gaming Show

Time: 10am PT/1pm ET

The PC Gaming Show is usually a collective thing, with many different developers talking about what they plan on doing on the platform in the future. Rebellion Studios (Sniper Elite) has already teased a new title that they will be showing off. Other developers schedule to appear is Annapurna Interactive, Chucklefish, Epic Games, Raw Fury, Paradox Entertainment, and Perfect World Entertainment.

Opinion: All of the big video card manufactures have already announced their latest and greatest cards coming out and most of the other big PC Triple A developers have their own shows so this is mostly for the indie crowd. I think we are going to see a lot of creative indie games being released.

Ubisoft

Time: 1pm PT/ 4pm ET

No Assassin's Creed this year. Ubisoft has already announced that they are skipping this year. What we will be seeing is Watch Dogs Legion, which was already leaked. We will also see more info on Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Skull and Bones. Also expect Year 2 DLC for The Division 2.

Opinion: I really really believe that they are going to announce Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle 2. The first game is a hidden gem on the Switch, and something every owner of the system should buy.

Square Enix

Time: 6pm PT/ 9pm ET

We will be getting more info on the Final Fantasy VII remake, which skipped the last few E3 events. We will finally get some game play of their Avengers game and more info on Life is Strange 2. Possibly DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3.

Opinion: I got a lot to say on this. I believe that we are going to get a release date on FF7, and an announcement that its coming to the Switch. I also think Square is going to port Final Fantasy 14 to the Switch. Plus more Dragon Quest games on the Switch (please?).

Tuesday, June 11th

Nintendo Direct

Time: 9am PT/12pm ET

We have no idea what to expect from Nintendo. They did announce that Link's Awakening, Luigi's Mansion 3, Ultimate Alliance 3, and Pokemon Sword & Shield are going to be playable at the event. Other than that, we have no idea. They just did a big Direct centered around Pokemon, so I don't expect any more news to come from that. I don't know.

Opinion: Now for the fun. Smash DLC. I believe they are going to announce Hero from Dragon Quest 11 as the next playable character in Smash. I also think we are going to get Metroid Prime Trilogy remaster for the Switch along with a new Animal Crossing game. I also believe that we are going to get another Dragon Quest game for the Switch. Maybe a collection of sorts.
