NetherRealm Studios and WB Interactive had a surprising announcement. For what could be the first time in the history of the Mortal Kombat franchise, MK 11 is getting story DLC. 

Story DLC is big news itself, but they also announced new playable characters. Sheeva, Fujin, and even Robocop are making their comeback into the Mortal Kombat universe. Along with new stages, new costumes, friendships, and brand new stage fatalities. 

Launching May 26th on PS4, X1, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. 

Pre-orders for this are now live, but depending on how much MK11 DLC you already own, depends on what you're going to spend on this expansion. 

If you just own the base game, you will need to pick up the Kombat Pack and the Aftermath DLC together in a bundle for $49.99. If you own the base game plus the Kombat Pack, then you just need to buy the Aftermath expansion pass which will cost you $39.99. 

If you don't own anything, then you can pick up the Aftermath Kollection for $59.99. Pre-ordering any of these options will give you access to the Eternal Klash Skin Pack at launch. In this pack you will get access to 3 new skins for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Frost.
